What Macy's Announced for the 2026 Holiday Season

Macy's, Inc. laid out its season in a September 24 holiday hiring announcement. The company is hiring seasonal workers across its Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Bluemercury stores and select supply chain sites, with in-person hiring days on September 24, October 22 and November 19.

Here's the honest part. Macy's named 10 top hiring markets for its stores this year, and Columbus isn't on the list. The hiring days still run nationwide, and all three Columbus-area stores are open and staffing for the season. Macy's has not published a headcount for any of them, and we won't guess at one.
